What’s New in 2026
Global submissions
For the first time, the Dev.Play Indie Festival is open to indie developers worldwide, with no geographic restrictions. Games can now be submitted from anywhere in the world.
Streaming slots available
This edition introduces five paid streaming slots, allowing selected games to be professionally streamed as part of the official Dev.Play Indie Festival program. Get in contact with us at contact@rgda.ro for more details)
Two-Day Live Showcase
A curated selection of indie games will be presented live over two consecutive days, streamed by professional content creators across multiple platforms.
Games featured in the showcase benefit from:
- Developer spotlights
- Dedicated streaming time
- Increased visibility for global audiences
Curated Steam Sale
The Indie Festival Steam Sale will include up to 100 games, selected based on clear criteria to ensure quality and visibility for each participating title.
Some slots will be reserved for Eastern European studios (up to 50%), provided they meet the eligibility requirements.
In order to be eligible to participate, please make sure your game meets the eligibility criteria outlined in the form and complete it by 11 April 2025.
*Dev.Play will deploy all efforts to secure Steam features for the Sale Page, but such featuring cannot be guaranteed.
