With an early background in advertising, comms and event management, Vlad has been in and around the indie games space since early 2014.

In 2018, he fully joined Romanian indie publisher Those Awesome Guys, as Communications Director, for projects such as Move or Die and Monster Prom, both titles with over 1.5 million copies sold on all platforms. He would later on transition into Marketing Lead for the entire company, while also taking on a Board Member role, during the pandemic transition period. In 2022, he took on Scouting and Business Development responsibilities, having signed three new projects to the publisher’s portfolio – Deepest Chamber, Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom and Valley Peaks, all titles with good critical and commercial success.

As of 2024, Vlad has left his fulltime position and has taken a freelance Scouting & Indie Publishing Consultant role, with the goal of establishing meaningful relationships between multiple publishers, investors and funds, as well as the ever growing plethora of indie developers coming out with cool projects every year. Among his current list of clients you can find: Amber Studio, Bright Gambit, Hugecalf Studios and Panik Arcade.

Vlad currently represents ORO Interactive, an EU-based micropublisher, focused on retro horror titles, with catchy visuals and virality potential. The label successfully launched its first title, Murky Divers, in late 2024 and is currently looking to expand its portfolio into 2025 and beyond.
