Dev.Play and RGDA strongly believe in the potential of the games sector in Romania and Eastern Europe and we think that independent studios from this region could be a significant source of industry growth in the coming years. Dev.Play’s mission is to facilitate networking and create opportunities for these studios, so it is our great pleasure to announce a key new addition for Dev.Play in 2019: the Investor Track!
The Investor Track will take place on November 7th and is being co-organized in partnership with Cornerstone Communications. Join us to connect with investors from the region and present your game or studio!
The track will feature several panels / discussions:
1/ A Fireside Chat session focused on investments in game development in Eastern Europe. This session will include Nikita Vladimirov from Super.com and Wojciech Jeznach from FantasyExpo as the investors, with Stanislaw Fiedor from Fuero Games representing the indies that have received VC / angel funding.
2/ A roundtable discussion on games investment in Romania and Eastern Europe, featuring several Romanian investors (business angels / fund representatives / capital markets) and independent developers. Participants will include: Malin Stefanescu, Sergiu Negrut, Alexandru Bogdan, George Lemnaru and David Moscovici.
3/ A panel focused on games publishing in Eastern Europe. The panel will be moderated by Elena Lobova and will include speakers from various publishers, such as Raw Fury, Soedesco, Tilting Point and Boombit.
The track will be hosted by Catalin Butnariu (RGDA / Dev.Play) and Zuzanna Kurek (Cornerstone Communications).
The Investor Track is only accessible to Business Pass or VIP Pass ticket holders.
